Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammetkhan Chakyev reported on the completion of the implementation of current documents on the development of the digital economy of Turkmenistan and presented new projects at a government meeting, TDH reports.

In particular, it was emphasized that significant work is being carried out in institutions, enterprises and organizations to increase the level of use of information and communication technologies, improve the material and technical base, introduce electronic document management and new working methods, as well as improve the qualifications of specialists.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal for the development of the digital economy for 2026-2028, instructing the head of the Agency to take appropriate measures.
