Today, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of China of Shaanxi Province of the People’s Republic of China Xin Shangping.

During the exchange of views, it was noted that at present, within the framework of comprehensive strategic interaction, Turkmen-Chinese relations are developing dynamically in a wide range of areas. In this regard, the parties discussed the main and most important areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

As noted, the high level of trust and friendship between the heads of state creates favorable conditions for the development of effective interstate relations.

According to the general opinion of the participants in the talks, at present, relations between parliaments and parties are active, and mutual visits of representatives of political parties of the two countries are regularly organized.

During the meeting, the parties noted the important role of trade and economic relations in strengthening friendly dialogue. It was noted that in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, effective cooperation has been established in the fields of science, education, cultural exchanges, and teaching the Chinese language. The interlocutors noted that the Culture Days of the two countries give impetus to the further development of humanitarian ties and enrich bilateral cooperation with new content.
