The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, met with Dimitri Kerkentzes, the Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE), on Tuesday in Ashgabat. During the meeting, the Secretary General reaffirmed his strong interest in continuing the traditional partnership with Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and the prospects for the country’s participation in international exhibition events, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen leader emphasized that cooperation with reputable international organizations remains a key focus of the country’s foreign policy.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Dimitri Kerkentzes highlighted the importance of international exhibitions as effective platforms for promoting mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation and stimulating global economic activity.
