The services provided by the Shipbuilding and repairing yard “Balkan” will be improved. At a government meeting held on the digital system on May 29, General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M.Chakyev reported on the ongoing work to further strengthen the material and technical base of the country’s marine fleet.

According to the report, currently the necessary work in this direction is being conducted by the “Shipbuilding and repairing yard “Balkan” open joint-stock company. This makes it possible to improve the quality of ship service. In light of this, the head of the agency presented a proposal to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.

After listening to the report, the Head of State emphasized the importance of bringing the country’s marine fleet in line with international requirements and ensuring continuous modernization of ships.

The President of Turkmenistan supported the proposal aimed at improving the services provided by the Shipbuilding and repairing yard “Balkan” and instructed the head of the agency to carry out appropriate work in this direction.
