As part of the consistent modernization of Turkmenistan’s transport infrastructure, initiated by Hero Arkadag and continued by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, Ashgabat International Airport has reached a qualitatively new level of service.

Passengers at the country’s main airport are offered access to a state-of-the-art infotainment platform via an internal WiFi network. This initiative marks a new stage in the implementation of the digitalization strategy and improvement of service quality in accordance with international standards.

The innovative system opens up wide possibilities for users of mobile devices, tablets and laptops. Passengers have access to an extensive catalogue of multimedia content, including:

• The introduction of a modern multimedia system at the airport is a logical continuation of a successfully implemented similar project on board the national air carrier’s aircraft, which ensured a high level of passenger comfort during international flights.

This technological solution is an important element of the modernization of the country’s air transportation infrastructure. The project is of particular importance in the context of strengthening the international prestige of Turkmenistan, since compliance with world service standards creates a positive image of the airport in the international arena.
