Recently, a working group led by Alexander Oleynik, Advisor to the Chairman of the “Azerbaijan Railways” Joint-Stock Company, visited the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.

During the visit, discussions were held on increasing cargo turnover between the two countries, monitoring vessel reception at ports, developing measures to reduce reception times, and developing multimodal transit transportation. During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation was introduced to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, its throughput capacity, infrastructure, and technical capabilities.

The visit was a clear demonstration of the further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the Caspian Sea.
