Turkmenistan and China CAMC signed a memorandum of cooperation in the railway sector

The Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan and China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of railway infrastructure. The document was signed following the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Türkmentel – 2025” and the International Conference and Exhibition “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2025.”
According to the memorandum, the parties intend to cooperate in the construction of a new high-speed railway line, the modernization and electrification of existing railways, and the construction of passenger depots using advanced technologies.
The document also provides for the exchange of experience in technology and personnel training.
