According to the contract between the Joint Stock Company “Demiryollary” of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan and the Chinese locomotive manufacturing plant “CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd.”, 20 freight diesel locomotives that needed major repairs were repaired.

According to the website railway.gov.tm, in accordance with the signed contract, the diesel locomotives were overhauled in China under factory conditions and have already been delivered to Turkmenistan.

Diesel locomotives that underwent major overhauls in China were equipped with advanced equipment, opening up the possibility of transporting large volumes of freight over long distances.
