Turkmen, Kazakh Ports Discuss Development of Caspian Transport Routes

The leadership of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport met with executives of Kazakhstan’s Port of Aktau and Port of Kuryk during a working visit to Aktau, focusing on the development of transport and logistics routes, the port’s press service reported Monday.

The sides reviewed prospects for further cooperation and discussed strengthening partnership ties in the Caspian region.

As part of the visit, the Turkmen delegation also toured the Port of Aktau, where they were introduced to its infrastructure, production capacity, and current operations.

Key terminals, existing logistics solutions, and plans for the development of port infrastructure were presented.

According to the statement, such engagements contribute to the exchange of experience, improved efficiency of cooperation, and the advancement of international transport corridors.
