Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan Explore Prospects For Transport and Communications Cooperation

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev met with Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in transport, logistics and communications.

According to the Dunyo news agency, the sides noted with satisfaction the steady growth of trade and economic relations between the two countries in recent years.

Discussions focused on the modernization of transport infrastructure and the creation of favorable conditions for freight carriers.

The sides agreed that deepening Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in transport, transit, logistics and communications would not only strengthen bilateral relations but also enhance the reliability and efficiency of regional transport corridors.
