The Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and Exhibition opened on Tuesday at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, located in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants on the opening of the Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and Exhibition and expressed his firm confidence that these large-scale events will give new impetus to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and China, based on the principles of friendship and mutual benefit, as well as the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.

“I am confident that the Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and Exhibition in white-marble Ashgabat, a tangible example of the constructive partnership between the two countries, will be effective in unlocking the enormous potential for cooperation in various fields—science, technology, and high technology—as well as the exchange of modern innovations and best practices,” the head of state noted in his welcoming message.

Aimed at developing economic and trade cooperation between Turkmenistan and China, the event will showcase cutting-edge technologies, innovative solutions, and production areas of the two countries, as well as the results achieved.

The program also includes thematic sessions, as well as B2B and B2G business meetings. These meetings create ample opportunities for identifying new areas of cooperation and concluding mutually beneficial agreements.

The Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and Exhibition will contribute to expanding trade between the two countries, increasing investment activity, and strengthening their long-term partnership.

The event will run until April 30.
