A Turkmen delegation led by Kemal Durdyev, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmengas State Concern, is participating in the Baku Energy Week, which is taking place in the Azerbaijani capital from June 1 to 3, according to the press service of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The forum is dedicated to green energy, energy security, and the development of the oil and gas sector.

As part of the event, Durdyev held a bilateral meeting with Elshad Nasyrov, Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). The parties praised the existing energy cooperation between the two countries, discussed new areas of collaboration, and reaffirmed the importance of consistently developing their strategic partnership, according to the statement.
