On July 30, 2024 representatives of «Shipbuilding and repairing Yard «Balkan» open joint stock company have become an active participant in the specialized event “Open Traders Day”, organized by the Malaysian company Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in Turkmenistan. This event provided a unique opportunity for local companies to register their services on the Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd platform and expand their customer base.

Representatives of the Balkan Plant successfully registered a wide range of services on the platform, including offshore platform repair and bathymetric measurements. This will allow the enterprise to participate in tenders and projects implemented by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in Turkmenistan.

In addition, it should be noted that the Balkan Plant continues to demonstrate high professionalism and successfully implements large-scale projects. Recently, the class restoration of the mobile offshore platform “Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi” was completed. This project confirms the plant’s ability to perform complex work and maintain the operability of important facilities in the oil and gas industry.
