Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Ambassador of the Russian Federation Ivan Volynkin, at which key aspects of interaction between the two countries were discussed. This is stated in the message of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

During the negotiations, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties exchanged views on promising areas of partnership, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between Turkmenistan and Russia.
