In 2025, Turkmenistan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality, and in honor of this event, as well as on the occasion of the announcement of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust”, a special jubilee medal and commemorative sign will be established.

This was announced at a meeting of the state organizing committee chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

Addressing the head of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty noted the importance of improving legislative activity in light of the planned events and expanding awareness-raising work among the population.

The need to develop, together with Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimuradov and the Chairman of the Central Bank, a project for a jubilee medal and a commemorative sign on the occasion of the “International Year of Peace and Trust” and the glorious 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality was also noted.
