In addition to its main specialization in the shipyard, the Balkan shipbuilding and ship repair yard offers a wide range of additional services, one of which is the repair and painting of sea containers.

This service includes a set of works aimed at restoring the functionality and appearance of containers damaged during operation.

The main types of work performed by the plant:

• Diagnostics of damage: The plant’s specialists conduct a thorough inspection of the containers to identify all damage, including cracks, holes, corrosion and wear of fastening elements.
• Repair of damage: Depending on the nature of the damage, the following types of repair work are carried out:
• Welding of cracks and holes;
• Replacement of damaged structural elements (doors, corners, floors);
• Elimination of corrosion by sandblasting and application of protective coatings.
• Painting: Containers undergo careful surface preparation and are painted in accordance with international standards and customer requirements. Painting not only improves the appearance of the container, but also protects it from corrosion and other external influences.
• Door mechanism repair: Door fittings are checked and, if necessary, repaired or replaced, ensuring reliable closing and opening of the container.

Floor repair and replacement: If necessary, damaged container floor is repaired or completely replaced.
