As part of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2026), a number of documents were signed providing for cooperation between Turkmenistan’s state authorities and foreign companies in various sectors, reported a correspondent from the “Business Turkmenistan” online publication who attended the event.

On the first day of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan and the South Korean company OnU H&C, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan and the Chinese company CSCEC International Construction Co., Ltd.

Additionally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the State Committee for Water Management of Turkmenistan and the Dutch companies Damen Workboats B.V. and Liamol Trading GmbH. The document provides for cooperation in modernizing water management, dredging water bodies, and maintaining as well as upgrading the auxiliary vessel fleet.

During the forum, the “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern and the Chinese company Tianjin Bohua Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at developing Turkmenistan’s chemical industry.

Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Shipbuilding and Repairing yard “Balkan” OJSC and the companies Damen Technical Cooperation B.V. and Liamol Trading GmbH. The document is aimed at developing strategic cooperation in Turkmenistan                                    for 2026–2036 in shipbuilding, ship repair, marine technology, and local manufacturing.

Furthermore, the “Türkmennebit” State Concern and the German company Hybrid Innovation GmbH signed a contract for the design and construction of a pallet manufacturing facility at the Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex (TKNPZ). The “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern and the “Türkmen enjam” Economic Society also concluded agreements aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the “Tejenkarbamid” plant.
